Area Information Boyne Country Provisions – Full service wine and liquor store, plus a little deli and some local food and hand-crafted items. You’ll love the proprietors, too – Ed knows his wine! Water Street Café – Breakfast, lunch, and dinner: simply the best food in town! Lake Street Market – Fantastic deli sandwiches, cheeses, and a great selection of micro-beers. Ace Hardware/Boyne Co-Op – Between the two you can find anything and everything you need. Bella Vita – Italian cuisine located just outside of town. Try the roasted garlic appetizer. It’s the best! Local Flavors – Great bookstore, Internet access, and the best place to stop for the morning coffee. Red Mesa – Margaritas. Need I say more? (OK, really good Latin fare, too!) Café Sante – Dine lakeside with live entertainment on most weekends. |
Locals’ Guide to Petoskey Bill & Carol’s – Full service liquor store and awesome deli sandwiches. Roast & Toast – The best coffee shop in the north country, and good stop for lunch as well. Mitchell Street Pub – Simply the best pub. The food is fantastic, a “must stop” for any visitor. Chandler’s – Guaranteed a good meal. Open for lunch and dinner. Palette – Petoskey’s newest restaurant, located at the old Andante’s. Definitely worth a stop. Twisted Olive – Check it out for breakfast or lunch – good stuff. Bill & Carols - A family operation, my favorite liquor store, and more great deli sandwiches. |
